Morning brief

Start each workday with one clear BD priority, today's meetings, and fresh signals on your Dashboard.

Overview

Morning brief is your personal daily start on the Dashboard. It tells you what to do first, what is on your calendar today, which follow-ups are due, and what changed overnight. It uses your calendar and email context, not a firm-wide queue that everyone shares.

Available on Team with a Revenue seat.

When to use this

  • First thing each workday, before you open email or LinkedIn
  • Before your first client or partner call
  • After overnight signals land and you want a clear starting point

Where to find it

  • Dashboard: top panel, above This week
  • Mobile: first section on the Today timeline

What's in the panel

Your day at a glance

One recommended follow-up with enough context to act: who to reach, why now matters, and a short summary of your day.

Review draft

Tap Review draft on that top action to open an AI-assisted outreach draft. Edit it, send or save, then continue to the next suggested contact when Toolblocks offers one.

Focus time

When you have open calendar space, Toolblocks can suggest a block to protect BD time. Works with Google Calendar or Outlook after you connect them.

Meetings today

Today's calendar events in one place. Tap Prep now when a meeting needs account context before you join.

Overnight signals

Fresh company or market updates from the last 24 hours. Skim these to see if anything changes your plan for the day.

This week

A link at the bottom of the panel jumps to your full weekly ranked queue when you have more time.

Typical 10-minute loop

Open the Dashboard and read your day at a glance. Note the top follow-up and any open time on your calendar.

Tap Review draft on that action. Edit the outreach, send or save, then continue to the next suggested follow-up if one appears.

Scan Meetings today. Use Prep now before calls that need account context.

Skim Overnight signals for anything that changes your plan.

Open This week for the full weekly queue when you have more time.

Setup

Configure these once for the strongest brief:

  • Target markets (Settings → Context → Target markets): Sectors, geographies, and target accounts that shape what rises to the top.
  • Calendar (Settings → Integrations → App store): Powers today's meetings and focus-time suggestions.
  • BD routines (Settings → Context → BD routines): Builds your daily queue before you open the workspace so the brief is ready when you arrive.

See This week for weekly queue setup and Prioritization Studio if your firm customizes how actions rank.

Privacy

Your calendar and email stay yours. Morning brief reads from your connected Google or Outlook accounts, not a shared firm inbox. Teammates see their own briefs, not yours. What you see each day is saved for you only and is not visible to other workspace members.

FAQ

Outreach drafts and signal summaries are draft for review. Verify fit and tone before you send anything to a client or partner.
